Volunteer
Jefferson Humanists need a few good volunteers. Organizations like ours believe in volunteering, not only because we can get more done and stretch our resources further, but also because volunteering builds community, provides opportunities for socializing, and models the very principles that we are about.
Photographer(s) Needed
We need photos of our events. And… it would be nice to have several people who could take pictures on their cell phones. That way if one person couldn’t make an event, someone else could. We need the photos to build community, help build interest in our group and will be posting them on facebook and our website. You don’t have to be a professional, just willing. If you are interested in helping us out contact JHIT@jeffersonhumanists.org or fill out the Volunteer Form.
Fundraising Coordinator
We would like to get our own space at some point so that we can have more flexibility in time and events. To do that we are going to have to start a fundraising campaign to make that happen. If this is an area that you can help with we would love to hear from you. If you are interested contact Matthew Elisha at president@jeffersonhumanists.org or fill out the Volunteer Form.
Volunteer Coordinator
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Jefferson Humanists. And often people pitch in. (Thank you very much!) However, these days a few people do much of the work. Getting more volunteers is a way to build our community and spread out the work. And, that is in essence the job discription. It helps prevent burn out and is humanism in action! If you are interested, please contact president@jeffersonhumanists.org or fill out our handy Volunteer Form.
Thanks for Volunteering!
